What is Stanford’s Data Governance Program?

Since 2011 the Stanford Data Governance Program has supported analysis and decision-making across our decentralized organization. 

This program aims to support data that is:

  • Accurate and consistent
  • Transparent  (i.e., findable, understandable, and well documented)
  • Accessible for suitable analysis and reporting
  • Available and timely
