What is Stanford’s Data Governance Program?
Since 2011 the Stanford Data Governance Program has supported analysis and decision-making across our decentralized organization.
This program aims to support data that is:
- Accurate and consistent
- Transparent (i.e., findable, understandable, and well documented)
- Accessible for suitable analysis and reporting
- Available and timely
Data Governance Center
Stanford's Data Governance Center (DG Center) is a central repository for documentation and information about institutional data assets and associated metadata.
Access is limited to Stanford University
